“French lets you express anything your mind can conceive of,” the narrator says, and I am inclined to agree. Though it has a smaller vocabulary, it is less prone to euphemism, and it forces a precise word choice to convey a subtlety that English lacks

@arstechnica I was taking about this with friends—as much as I admire blockchain’s ledger accountability, it will also hamstring future clandestine efforts that were part of USAID’s soft power, which is much preferable to open warfare in #geopolitics
