I am now part of the editorial board of a new student-led journal (Homónima) dedicated to themes surrounding metaphilosophy. They have just opened the call for papers for their first issue.

The journal accepts papers in english and spanish, and they receive original papers, reviews and translations.

The guidelines are currently available just in spanish (but feel free to ask), at: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1z6QNA9jGyrT7shTxNsVSW6rMsZzPb0cJ

Submissions should be sent to: homonima dot revista at gmail dot com

Latest papers: Felipe Morales Carbonell examines the prospects of applying Rylean ideas about fiction to mental fictionalism https://doi.org/10.1080/09515089.2025.2507730 @philosophy

Also, I got a paper out in Philosophical Psychology, on Ryle and mental fictionalism.

A few updates on my end. I have been traveling in Europe for the past three weeks, After visiting Germany, I've been to the UK, the Netherlands and Belgium.

A couple of weeks ago I gave a talk at Louvain-la-Neuve, and they have uploaded the video to youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx2Y-TsT-Zs

Next week I go to Bratislava, where I will give a talk on some WIP.

It's been so tiring, but also very fun.

Today and tomorrow I am in Potsdam, participating in this symposium on Roman Frigg's book Models and Theories. It should be fun!

@corbden I answered that it is immoral to lie in this context, but I would add the caveat that what one does and is prescribed in this context is _not_ lying in the same sense in which one lies outside the game, so lying in the internal sense is not immoral, but lying in the external sense is immoral. If I say something that is false in a context where it is known by every participant that what I said might be misleading, is that lying, really?

Dear philosophy journals, it is sort of appalling how many of you still do not offer an RSS feed to track new articles. This is, in internet terms, an ancient technology that can be implemented cheaply. Consider making life a bit easier for scholars in times of an increasing flood of publications.

I didn't know philosophers did that!
