With all the closings and cancellations, I can't help but think that we're going to be victims of our own success. New cases will drop (though without adequate testing, we really don't know the case rate anyway), then Trumpers will say the reaction was overblown media hype rather than seeing that the closures/cancellations directly slowed transmission rates.

Got my first good Bernie Bro pile-on elsewhere. Holy toxicity, Batman. And it was on a thread where it was gently suggested there's a lot of vitriol online from Berners. Crazy how shitty people can be. They really lived down to the reputation....

@NatashaRomanova @TheBatman @IronMan2020 Ohhhh ok, that's more about migrating from one Mastodon server to another. I misunderstood and thought the migration was about migrating from other social media. I guess the downside to decentralized social media is the possibility that your home server could shut down at any time requiring a new account on another one. And of course your name might not be available on another.
