I came here because I don't trust that clown on the birdy site.
Techy person, works with computers by day, doom scrolls by night.
@voltagex It was genuinely a well written article, and honestly it didn't bore me to tears with a load of pre-fluff at the start to pad out the story.
I think, instead of a podcast, it would be great to see a Hacking Google style series.
@BrodieOnLinux Linus has never worked an IT job in his life, while I bet a lot do, you shouldn't take advice about OS stuff from him, his channel comes from an entertainment POV.
However, not to single him out, you see a lot on privacy forums saying run X script to disable telemetry, which is always a bad idea anywhom.
I like LTT, I've watched him for around 10 years now, but as someone who works in IT, I watch it purely for entertainment, some parts are "correct" but not always.
@satmd Some unhinged physcopath going after another project because Daniel points out flaws.
Isn't that supposed to be the idea of FOSS, helping each other, instead of arguing because someones feelings get hurt, work together, GOS can be freely used by anyone.
I'm sure everyone (including Daniel) has taken critisim about their work, and just roll with it.
Truely worrying times in this niche part of the Android community.
