Nice thing about all this, unlike the old Yakread/Mastodon integration that I removed a while ago, is that it's just based on RSS. So anything I build will work for any form of social media profile as long as it provides an RSS feed (/or/ as long as there's some 3rd-party service that does so)
Anyway, I've added all my masto subs to my yakread account, so will begin gradually thinking about how to improve the usability. Mainly I think I'd like to batch up frequent RSS items into daily posts, which should make them fit better with Yakread's original focus on articles/newsletters.
Yesterday I made Yakread a bit more compatible with Mastodon RSS feeds. Just a couple small things, e.g. previously Yakread skipped RSS items without anything in the content tag, but mastodon posts are in the description tag.

It's official: I now work for a renewable energy startup. My tools-for-online-speech stuff will continue as side/open-source projects. I'm honestly looking forward to working on TFOS without the constraint of "needs to provide a full-time income."

Well, it finally happened: I have escaped from entrepreneurship. It was a fun 4.5 years, for some definition of fun.

(3) There's a new triage page where you can scan all the recent posts from your subscriptions and add them to your bookmarks. Then they'll get shown more often in the For You feed.
(2) Daily digest emails now include an "In case you missed it" section, with a sampling of unread articles from your subscriptions + bookmarks
