Coworker was a much more competent plumber than Ill ever be, he'd renovated his bathroom and basement himself
He was comfortable with electrical.
He really just needed info
Turned out we share some hobbies, had some shared experiences, and it was a nice experience to chat while he worked and to provide commentary when it seemed prudent
Of the experience, Im most honored that my hyperfixation and research carried forward go help a peer!

Fast forward to today, a coworker I didnt know info
I quickly found pictures on my phone, email receipts, web links, etc
He said he wanted a plumber just cause he didnt know what brands were reputable and didnt feel like he had the time to research quickly.
Turned out I had the research!
I offered to help him setup after work, which turns out I didnt need to do

I settled on a Zoeller Spin 508 combo sump with dc backup system. Found it in stock at a local plumbing supply (did not offer to them that I was not a plumber, nor did I have an account)
Decided on a Fleet standard size 31 AGM battery that was available at Oreillys locally instead of buying the over priced Aquanot branded AGM
Installed, setup, and was very happy with the result, house safely out of risk from sump failure

At work today someone posted on Slack asking if anyone has any referrals for a plumber to install a sump pump
Last fall, I found ours had rusted out during a storm and the pump base had separated from the pump, I cludged it back together, but needed replaced asap
I spent the next days frantically researching and hyperfixating on learning about sump pumps

Finally got it started and wasnt extruding, i didnt close the extruder door correctly, so wasnt touching filament
Now its bed time
So maybe i can get thru squish and pressure advance tomorrow
Ideally can start printing extuder flow calibration
