Needed to use up the last of my ham, so we had breakfast casserole for dinner. So good + not wasteful. Trying to eat at home more and not spend as much eating out.

Merry Christmas from my house to yours!
Losing someone from the online part of your church community hurts. She would regularly send me songs and hymns she found encouraging, along with pictures of her grandkids and jokes she thought I’d like. She was a constant presence on Sunday morning on our live stream. I learned this morning she passed away. The world lost a kind encourager over night.
Be at peace now, Deb.

I think I committed #VocalCare sin today. Some vocal rest and hydration are called for tomorrow.

No warm up + no water + a lot of #singing = one tight throat.

I love the church decorations this time of year.

A short devotional I wrote for the third week of #Advent on #Simplicity and #Joy.

"What does it look like for the person with too many interests, too many irons in the fire, or the person who wears too many hats to seek out and discover simplicity?"

Finding Simplicity for Advent—Joy - in All things

What does it look like for the person with too many interests, too many irons in the fire, or the person who wears too many hats to seek out and discover simplicity?

Enjoying my tree tonight. It’s the little things that brighten my mood sometimes.
Me: We are made for community
My anxiety: …but not too much though, k?
Can’t explain it, but a deep sadness has come over me tonight. No rhyme or reason. Had a lovely holiday and started decorating for Christmas. Yet… there are tears.
