Picked a heck of a day to create an account on hachyderm, but things are nice and quick now. Will probably start migrating shortly.

This one is a weird one. It’s a Commodore 2031 disk drive, obviously low profile, but instead of the tan 1541 case like the 2031lp, it’s actually in the ivory VIC-1541 case.

Also, it works.

Oh, man. I hope this isn’t a fake.
Unbelievable. With just a cleaning, the Apple IIgs boots and runs diagnostics just fine.
Guess I’ll need a keyboard and mouse. How do I not have one ADB device around here?

This Apple IIgs might be the grossest computer I've worked on in this adventure.

Pixelmator Pro is 50% off in the Mac App Store. I own Pixelmator, but held off on the upgrade. If you want Apple Silicon native image editing without the bloat and resident apps of the Adobe software, this price is a no-brainer.

Not sponsored, obv., just a fan of nice software.

Ugh. The Amiga 3000 is one of the neatest designs out of Commodore, but it feels like the most electrically fragile.
