#RadioShack was not just a place to get electronic parts and kits. You could also get great advise about batteries, computers, TV installation, etc.--at one time most of the US population lived within 5 mins drive of a #RadioShack
After I met some of the engineers and techs at the NRAO Science Operations Center in Socorro, NM, I stopped by #RadioShack and met Al Braun AC5BX a retired #NRAO worker who worked on the Green Bank Observatory Radio telescope #GBO and the #VeryLargeArray #VLA #hamradio #knowledgekeeper
