Over ten years ago, I wrote a short article on Medium about game controllers in Lightroom. Back then, it wasn’t that easy on macOS. You needed special drivers for various controllers. Fortunately, that has changed completely. There is now extensive native support. What remains is the remapping of controller buttons. The Joystick Mapper app is practically obsolete and has been discontinued. Its UI and stability leave a lot to be desired.
Fortunately, there is now Recontrol by Dan (https://github.com/danneu). Download: https://recontrol.danneu.com
I’ve updated my short article on this:

And I haven’t used Lightroom for years either. Just by the way.
#introduction – I moved here recently …
Originally trained in media science, and before that in telecommunications engineering, I have been working as a full-time photographer since 2013. A few photographs have also been taken in the typography scene over the last few years. My closest friend, @ferdinandulrich likes to use them.

But my specialization is in corporate and archival photography. It ranges from consumer goods and prototypes to archival materials and museum exhibits. My focus is on high-end object photography, where precision and lighting form an inseparable unit. My studio is technically designed for uncompromising sharpness. This is where I spend most of my time.
