I haven't been super active on here, been on bird site mostly. Got made redundant 3 months ago & it has been hard. Discrimination is wild when you're housebound but need to work. Freelance & subcontracting work is keeping me above water but only barely. Realised recently I'm having some kind of trauma response now to applying for jobs so that has been fun.
Having trouble switching brain off this holidays. But also it hasn't been the smoothest of times so maybe I'm expecting too much of myself.
Hello site that I signed up for and forget to use.
can't help but read this in a british accent

Boomers: People are too sensitive and need to toughen up

Millennials: People need to care more and help each other out

Gen X: Die Hard is a Christmas movie

The sad and not so slow destruction of Twitter has proven to me that you shouldn't trust a company to do the job of a community.

Unfortunately, it's way too easy to let companies slip into these roles - they have inherent advantages of resources and unity of purpose that allows them to make progress while a community is just getting started.

I don't know how to square this circle...

Still slightly confused on this app. If I click someones link from twitter it tells me I'm not logged in but if I paste their name into an open logged in tab I can find them. I think. Maybe. Kinda.
I’ve woken up feeling not completely awful which is always an off putting feeling when you’ve been in a bad flare.
Are food photos socially acceptable here? One way to find out 😂
