We Betrayed the Horses by Janis Rafa. A powerful exhibition where the artist depicts humans' sadomasochistic relationship with horses through the display of the tools we use to control them, the trophies that humans gain for themselves from the exploitation, and videofootage of facilities for horses.

The exhibition is displayed at ΕΜΣΤ Athens, National Museum of Contemporary Art.

International Museums Day spent at the National Gallery in Athens. While Hermitage and Louvre amaze with their historical architecture and the size of their collections, I found the exhibitions at the National Gallery far more interesting. The collection captures the diverse modern history of Greece and its widescale of different art styles in such a captivating way that I simply didn't want to leave. Greece truly has some of the best museums in the world.
