An 18 month plus veteran of Mastodon & a mere 25 posts under my belt. I guess I take quite a minimalist approach to communicating with other Humanoids...
@hisaac hope it’s all planned out OK for yoU? I post here v.rarely due to CFS/ME. A bitch of an illness that causes me to become a prisoner in my own body. But I won’t allow it to destroy my faith in humanity or biology. Such are the travails of the poet & the writer...

@Spacedrake you might enjoy Kenneth Anger’s Scorpio Rising as it carries something of the spirit of the best era within it. That’s all from me for now. Do feel free to let me know your thoughts. I don’t have too many toots or buddies on mastodon I’ve just been released from prison in Italy so I’m somewhat behind on my social media, but good to be catching up now, whilst I lick my wounds & consider my next adventure. Maybe a trip to Peru? Take care buddy !
@Spacedrake Some of the very early Wim Wenders movies are quite interesting. The American Friend (starring Dennis Hopper) who’d just finished appearing in Apocalypse Now, in his role as the war photographer & came straight from filming Vietnam to Hamburg still dressed in his clothing for Apocalypse Now. My 2 final Wim Wenders faves are The Goal Keepers Fear of the Penalty )1972) & ‘Kings of the Road’ )1976) which is essentially a German Road movie.hope these help although different from request
@Spacedrake I don’t think it really filtered through into cinema I until the 1960’s. Examples from that era are the French New Wave & directors like Jean-Luc Godard. Of course, as the 1960’s progressed indie film making cane into it’s own. Easy Rider & Punishment Park are both good examples, of course there are many more from that era. ‘Rebel without a Cause’ stands out but not ‘beat’ One of my fave eras is the 70’s & the advent of the German New Wave spearheaded by directors like Wim Wenders...
