i got rid of one more google service finally. I deleted gmail from my google account. after a year of having google auto reply about me deleting my gmail.

also might have a bit of in and out of service, during the debug, i move it to a different vps for about an hour to help debug, but things should go stable soon
spent a day and a half debugging a misskey issue, turns out it was an IPS/IDS issue due to my special setup
you know a reverse proxy in a vps, it then connects to services in my home lab over a vpn. this was the only thing getting hit on all my reverse proxy apps
OK so it is cursed, I have a long usb3 cable to run VR in a remote room and it has a power injection port, somehow that power is going both ways

i need suggestions, doing the simterface for BSB and i am not happy with the suggested neoprene foam padding. any ideas for alternatives for bridging the gap between the pla print and my face for cushion?
truenas woke up today and chose violence. things are starting to get back up, only after doing a "reset to defaults" and manually recreating my shares and settings
So the thing that held me back from doing this, was i was scared the 3d scan of my face would not come in the correct scale for slimterface project. but the project accounts for this
The text guide is a little confusing but slowly made sense.
hide everything but your face and alignment guide
use the shapekeys in the alignment guide to mimic your bsb settings (ipd/perception lenses/perception lenses thickness for left and right eye/and your targeted eye relief)
Scale and rotate your head until your eyes line up with the eye relief cross section
make sure your face scan has no holes
Solidify your head to simulate the thickness of your padding
make sure none of your face mesh clips through the red alignment guide
Re-align again to be safe if it clips
Show the version of slimterface you want and use the boolen modifier on it against your face
export as stl at 1000 scale and y up axis

OH MY GOD, even without the padding, the pla print feels SOOOOOOOOO much better than what BSB made for me
Waiting on the foam and magnets to show up and i can finish it
