I've released v1.3.0 of my #clojure #bdd test framework Lazytest. It now supports extracting tests from markdown files:
```markdown
# Cool stuff is happening!
``clojure
(adder 5 6)
;; => 11
``
```
is treated as `(defdescribe test-12345 (it "Cool stuff is happening!" (expect (= 11 (adder 5 6)))))`
I hope to support cucumber tests soon as well.

having separate instances sucks ass. different rules and content policies and technical decisions (custom emoji, post length, etc), inter-instance drama, admins, longevity (lack thereof), all shit most people don't want to think about.
for example, i tried to add a friend from cohost on here, turns out my instance blocked him for reasons unknown. admin won't respond to my emails, so i guess that's that, not allowed to be friends with him anymore.
i started playing pokemon unite the other day. so far, i like it a lot. it hits the moba itch i've been ignoring for the last 7 years while being light enough that i can't sink 4 hours into it thoughtlessly. 10 min matches provide a regular cadence of "should i take a break?" that i find helpful.
i have yet to lose a match, either in casual or ranked, so i'm not sure if i'm playing against real people or bots. i went 40/0 earlier tho, that was fun.
y'all hear that i'm working on a standalone BDD test framework for #clojure? it's called lazytest and it's inspired by rspec (ruby) and mocha (javascript). it features extensible reporters, first-class suites, a separation between running and reporting, assertions based on exceptions, and before/after/etc hooks, and soon will have multiple interfaces to support different styles of testing.

The counter girl hopped right up when I walked in and was clocking in to help me.
Me: were you on break? I can wait until it's over I'm not in a hurry.
Her: no, we're supposed to clock out when there aren't customers
Me: oh no, honey, no. That's illegal.
Her: 😳
Me: not for you, for your manager or whoever told you to do that.
Her: it is?
Me: it's called wage theft when your boss doesn't pay you what you earned. when your boss requires you to stay here, he needs you pay you for your time.
Her: oh.
Me: here, this is the office number to an employment lawyer, call her and tell her you need to come in to talk about this
Her: I don't have any money
Me: we're gonna get your money, you already earned it sweetie.
