Ended up going through a #Windows installer and was struck by how awful this is.
I used to reinstall Windows a lot in its less reliable days and this garbage would’ve made me a #Linux user on the spot.
As it is, I bailed after XP, and eventually went to #macOS, but this still makes me sad.
