This Creative Studio roll-out really has highlighted how lousy and inflexible the App Store back-end is. Double versions, app updates that tell you to download other app updates, and presumably why there's only one bundle on offer... developers knew this already of course

News outlets really gotta stop qualifying people who get killed by the state.

“No criminal record” is irrelevant, because the state shouldn’t be killing *anyone.* Specifying this indicates that the writer thinks—and that the reader should think—that this detail makes a difference. It does not.

Philando Castile and Daniel Lewis were also legal and licensed and not suspected of any crime and did not brandish their weapons and were nevertheless gunned down by police. Gun rights groups were silent about them.

If the Second Amendment applies at the discretion of police with summary execution as an outcome, then it doesn’t exist.

While everyone has their knives out for dumb Apple UI this week, here's my complaint. Tapping on the Up/Down arrows next to the selected mode should bring up the mode selections. It doesn't. The only way to change modes is to tap on the blue area, which brings up the mode selector. It is infuriating and I get it wrong 90% of the time.
