@FSMaxB nah, itâs a return request, linked to from a different retailer, no prior evri data point
@rjmunro @armstrong I wasnât necessarily proposing an actual user researched, user tested and qa stamped solution to be honest. Names are complicated, my main point stands, the system should handle it or at the very least give me a reasonable out
@armstrong the best solution would be to not bother the user about it at all and convert the first name to initial automatically if it doesnât fit. Like it is it gives me nothing, like, youâre asking for full name in a place where I think it needs to match the order Iâm returning. What do I do? (And donât get me started on the ai chatbot)
As it happens, I build websites for a living, I disabled the js validation and submitted the form đ¤ˇââď¸
It has been a while since I've encountered this, but just in case it's not clear - do not, and I mean, do not, validate people's names
