I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also made me code. And when I make videogames I feel His pleasure.
The new version of Retrospecs should soon be oozing forth into the void - hope you all enjoy. :-] https://mastodon.social/media/-yACWcn-k3C5WpX-Pic

Watched Inside Out again with the kids today. It is such a great film. Storytelling at its absolute best. When they get it right nobody pushes your buttons like Pixar.

If this new bathroom doesn't kill us I honestly think me and my wife will achieve immortality.

It has been a DIY journey from hell.

Watched Ex Machina on the old Netflix. Enjoyed it. Oscar Isaac is always watchable.
It's either that or a Free-To-Play Match 3 game.
My last game was sort of about a dude struggling to find Christ in a Science Fiction setting that had abandoned Him for fascism. So Secularism would be a nice departure.

I want to make a videogame full of so much relentless peurile swearing called, "It's not big and it's not clever", which turns out to have a narrative exploring the arguments for liberty by John Milton, Thomas Paine and John Stuart Mill. Thus actually being quite big (well, meaningful) and slightly clever.

Has anyone done that before?
