Just went and did early in-person voting today because a headline like this is super disappointing (to put it mildly).

No waiting at 2pm on a Tuesday, so that was nice!

I saw someone else say that the auroras looked like faint, whiteish smoke in the sky, and I couldn’t agree more.

The camera caught more detail and color than what my eyes saw.

My camera captured some beautiful images from last night, but I’m bummed that this isn’t what my eyes saw. To me, it looked like streaky dim whiteish light.

I was expecting bright, vibrant dancing light in the sky. So, while cool to capture on camera, it was just a little disappointing to see.

There’s probably a source out there that’s free to learn about it, but the point I’m trying to make is that some news probably shouldn’t just be for those who can afford it.

Might be a stretch, but imagine if severe weather alerts (tornado, earthquake, blizzard etc.) were a subscription.
