Boskee ↙️↙️↙️↙️One thing #newsorganisations could consider is setting up their own #Mastodon servers with closed registration. That would not only allow them to "verify" all of their journalists, it would also allow their admins to cut on threats targeted at the employees at the server level.
Without a blue checkmark, having all your journos within your organisation's domain is the next best thing to verify their identity.
It's also what the European Commission and the German Federal Government have done.
In True Twitter Fashion - we had no goodbye email, no warning, nothing. We had a cryptic meeting for 4:30pm PT that just as cryptically removed.
Then all the media outlets reported what they couldn’t be bothered to tell us. They couldn’t even pretend we were worth anything.

If you ever want to make a ringtone from a video you downloaded:
ffmpeg -ss 00:00:00 -to 00:00:19 -i video.mp4 -af loudnorm=I=-11:LRA=11.0:TP=-0.5 -b:a 320k ringtone.mp3
where -ss is the "starting from timecode" and -to is the "until timecode"

Sam fakt, że "konsultacja telefoniczna" albo "chat z lekarzem" jest przez @[email protected] mocno lansowany jako alternatywa wizyty u dermatologa jest śmieszny, to że ta alternatywa nie istnieje jest już oburzające.
Mam wykupioną opiekę w @[email protected], ale okazuje się, że umówienie wizyty z lekarzem nie jest możliwe:
Dermatolog: brak JAKICHKOLWIEK terminów, w całej Warszawie. Konsultacje telefoniczne: najwcześniej za miesiąc. Chat z lekarzem:
