Team science, family, poetry and politics. Feminista. She/her.
I'm writing a chapter in a book for first-generation college students and my part is about Impostor Phenomenon, emphasizing its effects for students with marginalized identities. My argument: the more you cross social boundaries based on your identi(ties), such as race, class, gender, sexuality, etc., the more powerful your impostor feelings will be. I'm going to have to cut it to fit the format, so I'm thinking of fashioning the surplus into a @medium piece

https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-00642-9 Bars in Belgium could be among the healthiest places to have a drink, come July. That’s when a new law goes into effect, requiring public venues to meet air-quality targets and display real-time measurements of carbon dioxide concentrations
Indoor air is full of flu and COVID viruses. Will countries clean it up?

The current pandemic has focused attention to the importance of healthy indoor air and could spur lasting improvements to the air we breathe.

Because it has to be repeated again and again: We need to drastically reduce the number of cars to solve our problems.

I cannot keep this to myself. There is a website (radio.garden) where you can listen to radio stations all over the world for free. No log in. No email address. Nothing.

When the site loads, you are looking at the globe. Slide the little white circle over the green dots (each green dot is a radio station) until you find one you like.

I have been listening to this station in the Netherlands and it absolutely slaps.

EDIT: Replies tell me that this doesn't function in the UK without a VPN.

Wer braut die schöneren Varianten. Pandemix oder Endemix?
