I have to admit, I've had a few mixed feelings about today's launch, what with all that's happening in the world right now. But damn, being able to watch it via livestream was cool as hell.

I’m Nicole, a GenXer born in Nova Scotia & now living in Ontario, Canada with my husband and two kids (and the cat).

After hearing/reading about Mastodon and the fediverse, I've decided to come see what all the fuss is about. I haven't been scared off just yet so maybe I'll stick around for a spell.
