@xgranade Linux on MacBook Neo will happen eventually (I think someone got the kernel to almost boot), but it's going to take a while and you should not plan around it.
@xgranade Apple Intelligence has one global toggle presented during setup and available in settings later. I haven't ever seen it insist, Microsoft-style. Same for Siri.
But I have no advice regarding "new set of skills", as my mom was already a macOS user, just an old version until we got this Neo...
@zkat I learned about that one in a Twitter thread with other unfortunate names. It gets especially fun cross language. There's a tech company called "choreo" (slang for "stealing" in several South American countries), there's a calculator app for mobile called "culo"...

@OmegaPolice it doesn't matter if it can be reliably identified or not, it should still be banned. Most make it plainly obvious anyway.
@OmegaPolice I can't believe people are still throwing the argument of "we can't ban X because there's no 100% reliable way to know if X was used, so let's fully allow it".
