Dear Fedi friends, may I ask you a favor?

I would really appreciate it if you could boost this message. I have created a French version of my Fedi promo video - and a French landing page – that I hope can spread far and wide in the Francophone world:

https://news.elenarossini.com/fedivers-video/

Being a software professional at the moment's a bit like being a doctor in a time when every hospital administrator believes the X--Ray specs they advertise in the back of newspapers actually work.

"Were it not bad enough that Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre has received the endorsement of Jordan Peterson and Elon Musk, a Financial Times analysis of 350K Twitter posts reveals a coordinated campaign to support Poilievre & attack the reputation of Liberal Party leader Mark Carney.

The NYT similarly reported that third-party advertisers, like Canada Proud, are running disinformation campaigns targeting Carney, ..."

“We've arranged a society based on science and technology, in which nobody understands anything about science and technology. And this combustible mixture of ignorance and power, sooner or later, is going to blow up in our faces.”

This tale of enshittified tech jobs is a movie I've seen before. I worked with Lotus Notes in the late 90s. Was hired by a PR firm in 99, by an HR person (a contractor). I could have asked for the moon, but that made me nervous. No bean bag chairs, but constant companywide get togethers, free bagels on Friday, and monthly birthday parties. Biggest client was IBM. You can guess what it looked like by 2002. Some things we just need to keep learning...?
