@flangey Afghanistan and Iraq, like Vietnam, were discrete conflicts that didn't kinetically escalate much beyond their borders.
With Russia still in a hot war in Ukraine and aiding Iran, combined with the Venezuelan operation and total embargo of Cuba-- there's few parts of the world that are not suffering directly as a result of the current conflicts with the same three bloodthirsty madmen behind them.
