We live in a confusing world, between the old world of Capitalism and a better, more sustainable world.

There is a better way of living, with communities, a healthy planet, less loneliness, healthier food and less inequality.

Poem for a solstice.

The solstice.
That time when after 6 months
of the Earth slowly leaning,
further and further
to the right,
The world shifts.
The seasons change.
Darkness is squeezed,
supressed,
pushed down, as with each day,
light creeps back in,
little by little,
bringing with it hope.
As shadows are chased into corners,
come, come back into the light.
Help chase the golden chariot
across a new sky,
burning with every spectrum of colour,
and tilt the world back to the left.

Money and the power that goes with it are often considered a threat to the rest of us. But that is not always the case.

My wife has identified individuals & organisations that donate money to the fight against climate change. This could well make our futures better. It gives us hope!
