This must have been my 18-year-old's thought ahead of birthday dinner this evening.

18 years ago today my wonderful twin daughters were born. You don't need photos of them in incubators with tubes and stuff (they were born around 1.5kg each), but here's one of me, from 9th February 2005, on the day we took them home.

This is a kind of brag, but a collective one. I'm immensely proud to be part of a department that is so productive and interesting and supportive.
(By the way, we're ~17 faculty, taking joint appointments into account.)
