Thank you so much for the suggestion. I did think about it. Perhaps I should again. It sounded like too many layers.

The issue I had with Tapestry is that as of now I can't seem to see comments in mastodon or make comments. So I stick to reading with Ivory.

@lapcatsoftware @daringfireball My opinion is that as tech corporations go, and particularly large US ones Apple comes out better than most. Can you think of a more ethical example?
The first person who springs to mind when I think of someone exhibiting “hostility towards the citizens, culture, government, institutions or founding principles of the United States” on social media isn’t a visiting student. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/06/18/social-media-screening-student-visas-00413160

AOC and Bernie don’t need to pay people to attend their rallies Elon, because people actually like them.
I feel like we haven't really processed or even talked much about the extent to which US federal agencies have transitioned to communicating press releases and important information on X. Want to interact with your government? Sure, just do it through X. If you let that really sink in, it's a fairly profound and terrifying shift, IMHO.

Just so proud of Mastodon and the Fediverse tonight.

Everything else is getting enshittified. Mozilla changes their TOS to sell your data. Bluesky censors political content (then backs off after outcry) and partners with weird blockchain and AI stuff. Everyday it is some new rubbish.

And we just keep chugging along. Nowhere do you get a better survey of what's going on or a better forum to engage with lively intelligent folks about it. No algorithmic nonsense. Just people. You're all great.

BRAVO!
