I've never seen a good home router device provided by an #ISP 😠 Plus the weird "selfservice" router management provided by the ISP, that bugs out each time I use it... Terrible.

My current home router had just resetted WiFi settings to default and didn't let me change it back. Once I did it - it changed the SSID, but both the old and new password didn't work despite the app showing the correct one 🫠 Third time, I was able to change both successfully and I just hate this weird system so much xD

On top of that it randomly doesn't load websites and after ~10 seconds of refreshing they work again. HOORAY💢

Time for a new router 😩

Maximal efficiency is not always desirable. If you could teleport to the places you want to be, you lose out on all the sights along the way that make life fun.

This is how I feel about modern #uidesign where everything is homogenized square shit.

But this isn't exclusive to game console UIs, most websites now do not think you should be allowed the freedom to fuck up your own profile like you could on myspace and old youtube.

Personality is a factor worth considering, not just efficiency.

Universal Control and Sidecar already exist, and the EU has given no sign that these features would constitute violations of the DMA.
