so @gruber was asking about win11 over parallels on macos on arm; i've been doing that for about 8 mo now with win11 enterprise over parallels 17/18 on an m1 pro mbp w/32gib ram. can't speak to batt life as wfh means i'm on a tb3 dock most of the time, but light loads like office, teams, edge are snappy + responsive, even with corp mdm + av installed. occasional use of x86 perforce is a dog, but that may be for various reasons. wsl2 sadly impossible since m1/2 doesn't do nested virt under macos.

Almost 180k new users joined #mastodon yesterday, a new record. This third #twitterMigration wave happened after Musk's Twitter 2.0 ultimatum to #Twitter workers. Each wave is stronger than the previous one. Here is my updated plot showing the three consecutive waves.
