@wesdottoday I need an electrician friend that I can discuss electrical code with over a couple of drinks (on me of course).
@tracketpacer I've been in the severe boredom stage of my ADHD and the lack of motivation stage in my depression. I did finally start going through the piles of old clothes in my bedroom, but it's not stalled.
@wesdottoday I've got a couple of combo imperial and metric tape measures. Make things much easier.

@wesdottoday I had a lot of tasks to get done yesterday because I'm on PTO starting today. Normally I do my best work when I have deadlines and lots of things to do.

I took my meds yesterday, but felt exhausted all day.

Not just normal tired, but to the point that I HAD to take a nap at 10am. I just couldn't function anymore. I got good sleep the night before too.

Trying to focus on anything was physically painful and made my fatigue even worse.

ADHD sucks.

Hypothesis: The Fediverse consists almost entirely of adults.

I expect most youths are drawn to the large corporate social networks; but those of us who took the effort to come here have likely experienced the Internet before most of those existed.

Of course, the only way to test this is by collecting data using the most scientifically rigorous method available to me: a Mastodon poll, lol

(I expect this will only reach English-speaking Fedi, but do boost if you're able)

@wesdottoday 3D Maxspider are really good. I prefer them over weathertech.
It's been 4 1/2 months now since I started treating my neurospiciness. I've been through a few medications for ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I'm now starting to feel like I'm feeling "normal". My mood is consistently good, my energy levels are much better throughout the day, I'm sleeping better at night (thanks Trazodone), and I'm actually able to focus when I need to. It's such an amazing feeling.

I explained how this was an old train depot and the trail used to be a trail line. Showed them the pictures of the old trail line and construction of the trail. There was an old wood burning heater on display and I explained to them what it was and what it was used for.

It was really cool seeing the interest these kids had in this small bit of history and I sincerely hope they don't lose that inquisitive nature.

I was on a bike ride on Saturday. We rode up to Woodward, IA. There is an old train depot turned museum. There were a couple of kids checking it out, no older than maybe 12. They were pointing out pictures and maps and other items and were asking me about them.
I've had a nasty pain in my mouth since Sunday. Ended up getting a root canal yesterday. It's amazing that drilling a hole in a tooth and cleaning it out immediately makes it feel better. It wasn't even one of the teeth that hurt. I would have had it done without anesthetic just to get rid of the pain. I've never had a kidney stone, but I can't imagine it being any worse pain than this.
