Having this entire window replaced today, which I'm pretty excited about. It's our only single glazed window, absolutely freezing in winter, and none of the windows open any more. Big job though as it's structural.

Living beside a nature reserve paying dividends at the moment. Deer behind the house last week, and a Great Spotted Woodpecker at my bird feeder today.
Just over 7 months to get to 1000 miles on our cargo bike. Not too bad considering 1) we haven’t been more than 2 miles from the house on any trips, and 2) we cycled 0 miles a year before.
It’s been an absolute game changer for us in transporting kids around.
Liquidation for my software consulting company went through a couple of weeks ago. Mixed feelings about it, but there was little point keeping it going once I joined Apple.

“I’ll just clean the fire out quickly before going back to work” I said after lunch…
An hour later I’ve completely disassembled it, as a fire broke, then I noticed the baffle needed replaced, and so on.
Ironically my work day is doing the same - yak shaving aplenty, today!
