She most definitely needs a movie. She was part of the Resistance in Holland, and
Damn, she was a badass. She also helped Jewish people escape camps and blew up some train tracks the Reich used.

The condition of fabrics from pile dwelling and wetland settlements is amazing. This charred ball of thread was found at the site of Marin-Epagnier/Préfargier. It was made of hemp or lime fibres, and dates about 3900 to 3300 BC. The thread measures a total of about 10 m in length.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.

A time when people had their phone conversations in private. When you didn't have to strip naked to access the boarding area of airports. When food producers didn't actively poison us. When a factory worker could afford to buy a house and feed their family.

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

“Spain will legalise about 300,000 undocumented immigrants per year over the next three years as it seeks to expand its labour force in the face of an ageing population, Migration Minister Elma Saiz told reporters.”

“’Spain has to opt between being an open, prosperous country or being a closed and poor one, and we have chosen the former,’ Saiz said.”

"Spain's economy is the fastest-growing in the EU."

A society should be judged by how well it treats its poorest & least well off, & not by how well its richest are cleaning up...
Conservatives hate public good, if the government does something that helps the public cheaply or freely, they will try their hardest to privatize it. That's who they are, and what they work for. The most insane trick they ever managed was convincing way too large a group of people that they somehow don't deserve anything beneficial from the taxes they pay.

Here’s what parenting can look like.

When I told my dad I was trans, my dad’s response was, “Oh! I can send you jewelry now!” (He was retired and made jewelry as a hobby).

Two days latter, I had a letter in the mail addressed to Joelle, the first time “Joelle” ever got mail, with a necklace in it. Later he made me this one. He told me, “I hope I got the colors right, I looked it up online.”

You don’t have to mourn a child transitioning. You can be the first to do so many affirming things.
