Two sides in and DIN rail attached. Next time I start wiring.
Finally starting the actual assembly of the brew controller! New system comes next week, so I’d better get this together.
Finally making some progress on the brew controller again. Got the aluminum front panel in, and everything fits! Now I can start wiring.
New front panel for the brew controller arrived! Aluminum now. Looks good! Won’t be able to put it together for a little bit though.

Unfortunately, the bracket for the main circuit breaker didn't fit in the cutout (which matched the website's description.)

I tried to Dremel out the hole, but that ended up chipping the acrylic and looked pretty bad. And finally, as I tried to push the circuit breaker in, the entire front panel snapped!

In addition, some of the 110V outlets didn't quite fit in the holes I cut. That might still be fixable with the Dremel.

Continued the test fit of the brewery controller today. Learned some lessons. Making is problem solving right?

First the good. The laser engraved copper looks amazing, and the layer of copper adhered to translucent blue acrylic worked exactly as I planned.

And, most of the parts fit as expected.

But, some things didn’t go as well….

Test fit of the brewery controller I’m building. All of the laser cut panels fit perfectly! One extrusion has badly tapped holes. But everything else worked great!
@tapbots @paul Unable to try the new subscription flow with the latest update. (Was the same with the previous version too)
So excited to be able to share what we’re working on with family and friends!
