May is National Foster Care Month and NASW recognizes the work social workers do to secure permanent placement and help young people age out of foster care.

Dr. Anthony Estreet, CEO of NASW, alongside other leaders in mental health, is voicing serious concerns about recent policy changes by the Trump administration affecting the work environment of mental health professionals at the Veterans Administration. These changes, mainly the removal of remote work options, are alarming.
