NASW should model the values expressed in their code of ethics. Transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership are not optional in social work. Recent decisions by NASW national fall short of these commitments, leaving many of us deeply concerned.

I want to recognize and appreciate the NASW Iowa Chapter for responding with integrity and clarity. Their leadership reflects the values our profession is built on, even when the national office does not.
