I made a similar post on Blue sky, but I thought I'd do something here, too. About 4 days ago I got a Remarkable Paper Pro. So far, I'm really loving it. It truly feels more Like writing on paper. It even translates emoji like: 🙂

reMarkable Paper Pro arrived today—a day earlier than predicted.

The unboxing experience is very Apple-esque. Quality packaging, minimal and elegant.

The writing feel _is_ much closer to writing on paper—especially compared to the slick glass feel of writing on an iPad.

Now to see if I can learn to use it instead of random bits of paper for note taking.

My contract got renewed for the new year, so I got myself a little upgrade I don’t _technically_ need to celebrate 🎨

I like the way #golang deals with errors, too.

I used to be a C programmer, decades ago. And my preferences were very much affected by it.

And the way error handling tends to be done in Golang is similar to how I was doing it in C back-in-the-day.

We know him as "Eddy", but within the pumpkin community, he's feared as "The Smasher".

This account does not, rightfully, do content warnings for US politics because it exists specifically to talk about a certain aspect of, GA early voting, of US politics.

Georgia Election Data Update (@[email protected])

Attached: 1 image Good morning 🌞 from the Peach State 🍑. I've been crunching the numbers from yesterday's epic in-person voting tallies, and have some initial takeaways: 📈 with a total of 305,905 Early Vote in-person ballots cast, this count is more than double Day 1 in-person early vote in 2020 and 2022. 🤔 Of those Day 1 Early Votes cast, only 5.3% were from voters with no prior record of voting. 📊 ...and of the Day 1 Early Votes cast, 83% of voters also early voted in the 2020 General Election. What does this data tell us? ➡️ Yesterday's ballots were mostly cast by "experienced" voters who make a habit of voting early. ➡️ However, In a race where small margins matter, the 5.3% of new voters (16.2k) is enough to swing the presidential race in Georgia. ❓Today's early voting counts are almost more important than yesterday's. If we see a sustained and secular increase in daily early voting totals, that tells us that we have a trend and not a "blip". 🔵 Democrats are pushing Early Vote intensively in their messaging - more Early Votes means less ground to make up for Election Day. Next up, I'll break down Early Vote by geography and share some more insights. Free free to send along your questions or suggestions as well! #election2024 #georgia #voting #earlyvote

@jswright61 are you on blue sky by chance?
