Accuracy is high overstated in both links i followed. I still haven't seen why NRC stopped. I think this might be a case of they don't know why the signal was still being generated and who is still using it. Sometimes you have stop doing something to hear the screams.

@HopelessDemigod THats not Icom's fault they could have went their own way like Yaesu. They adapted a standard when it was developed 128 kilobits was more than enough at the time.
