If you aren't aware, I collect programmable logic devices and their toolchains. If you are ever looking for an old version of MAX+PLUS II or similar, feel free to ask. If you have old dev boards, I'll gladly give them a home.

I'm working towards a living museum of sorts with functional development workstations (on computers of the time) for some of the earlier device families. My current project is a workstation for Xilinx XC4000 series using a development board called Borg designed by University of California, Santa Cruz and Xilinx. After that is a Xilinx Spartan2 workstation.

Using MCL86jr in a PCjr has rendering bugs in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2.0. Hoping I can track them down so I can be more confident in shipping assembled modules to folks.

So I've been reading through cocotb's docs to figure out how to use @gloriouscow 's https://github.com/SingleStepTests/8088/ to test https://github.com/MicroCoreLabs/Projects/tree/master/MCL86, the core used in MCL86jr. I think I see how it can be done with TestFactory. Hopefully writing the test harness will be easier than fixing the bugs.

During the first table read of "The Princess Bride," Wallace Shawn noticed that his character, Vizzini, had the word “Inconceivable!” scribbled plainly in the script, without any hint of how it should sound. The moment stayed vivid in his memory because he immediately felt that the delivery had to reflect Vizzini’s inflated ego and constant desperation to prove his superiority. Shawn later shared in interviews that he began experimenting right there at the table, trying (1/10)

Went to the Greenwood Car Show with @WoodlandFey today. 20 city blocks of cars! I only took a few photos though. A Fairlady. A '78 Trans Am TA/6.6 very close to my Dad's. A very clean drag car.

Ahahah my employer posted photos of us hoisting and flying the trans flag outside the aquarium and the haters are so angry it’s so funny they’re trying to say fish aren’t gay and people are like uhh some of our fish do actually change genders

@skeletor Wore my first skirt in public yesterday (I'm a he/him kind o' person), so this hits hard. SKELETOR GETS ME! 🤗
@skeletor If I'm not making some folks uncomfortable by simply being my authentic self, I'm not really being my true self.
@skeletor Eh...I'd rather not delve into Manifest Destiny territory, tyvm.
@skeletor I don't even know how to live that way
@skeletor unless if you are a billionaire. Then, you are already quint huge, and you might need to adjust your “freedom” a bit, sometimes.
