In 2026 claude helped me add AppleScript support to a complex GUI application with a couple dozen example test scripts. Now the app is fully scriptable and claude can test it and we can automate a lot of stuff. I would have never even thought to do that before. A radar to a PR in less than a half a day.

After I watching a video of a guy that owned a small movie theater create poster making software for only him and his wife, I got inspired.

I created my own one person app that runs on iOS and macOS. called myPod. It's an old school music player that only plays downloaded files like the old iPod used to. The shuffle algo is custom designed for me. The app would not exist if it wasn't for AI. This might be the future, custom apps. Unleash sideloading! @atpfm @marcoarment @siracusa @caseyliss

@daringfireball Mac OS windows used to be resizable only from the corner. At some point they allowed resizing from any edge. Maybe that is why the resize affordance went away

And look what happens to people who know or say too much.

@atpfm LLM 's often use < 32 bit floats for calculations. 6bit or 4 bit floats. So you can understand why ordering might change the results. Dithering can add useful noise to calculations which often make images look way better. Anyway that's why operation order could give different results. @marcoarment @caseyliss @siracusa
