It is unfortunate that such disruptive actions need to be taken to get action on wat should be a simple issue (guns vs children’s lives), but in todays very politicized and dark money fueled Congress, the people most affected HAVE to speak loudly and clearly to get the attention, focus, and action that will save their lives.
The 1994 Assault Weapons Ban is a good and simple way to bring about that change, by simply removing the renewal requirement and reintroducing … 🧵

They should present their fears and demand that their representatives formulate, propose, enact and enforce restrictions on gun purchase and ownership that will allow them to complete their education without worry or fear of classroom ambush and murder.
