Sooo... My first officially super weird post incoming:
I've known about Sparky's Magic Piano for a long time now, but I only became aware of the other sparky stories a few years back. One such story is Sparky's Magic Echo. During one part, Sparky asks a fish for advice, but the fish essentially says he has none. Not a very interesting exchange but... The voice for the fish is, well, strange.
Some might think this is some weird effect put on the voice, but nope, it's a vocal stunt. Basically it's just talking, while gargling without water. Phonetically speaking, it's a uvular trill. Some languages use softer versions of this, but this gargle talk is like, the super extreme version that most people wouldn't even think of. Lol.
When I first heard this part of Sparky's Magic Echo, I had already known about this trick for years (I've been able to do it since I was a kid, and have always found it, well stimmy is the only way I can put it), so my first reaction was basically, oh wow someone else is weird like me. But oh boy, if I'd heard this as a kid, I would've lost my mind, and subsequently gotten yelled at for making silly noises, and I just generally would've been annoying about it I think. So maybe it's good that I only found this when I was older. Lol.
Anyway. For those who are weird and curious, I attached the relevant part of Sparky's Magic Echo so you can hear what I am talking about. Have fun!
