I love my home theater setup for this reason... no smart feature, I bring my own console/Apple TV/PC to hook into it.

I bought a TV with NO 'Smart' Features...

Haven't posted here in a bit! Here is a pic from my latest trip to Cape Cod (Brewster). It was very rainy and cold, but it was good to have a fire and relax for a bit.

I....I built a JMAP webmail client for Stalwart with Claude this weekend...

I am not a frontend guy (hence the choice of FastAPI for the backend) but man was that fun...

I will say, it was not easy, and it took a lot of back and forth. But I got there.

Mail, Calendar, and Contacts, all over JMAP, and even OAuth support, PWA, and darkmode 😎

If anything, that drove me away because it annoyed the crap out of me.

Newsflash: If you do not tell me WHY you are calling, I will not call you back. Ever.

Why does Thousand Trails even exist?

And why would they ask me (who owns a small, teardrop camper) to camp in a campground with massive RVs all around me?

I bought a teardrop to camp in the woods, not at a resort...

I am not saying Agent AI coding is a bad thing, I am saying blindly trusting it to code on one of the most important open source communities, probably wasn't a great idea.

Not to mention, why does AI have to be BUILT IN to everything? It doesn't and newsflash: THAT IS WHAT RUINS IT FOR MOST PEOPLE

Microsoft ruined GitHub? With AI? And we are shocked?

Honestly I like GitLab better, but now that they are also going down this AI rabbit hole, I may go somewhere else.

I want source control for source control, maybe a basic CI/CD pipeline to help me build, test and publish my apps.

GitHub Had the Worst Week in Its History.

Nothing like pushing your changes on a Friday and accidentally typing: git shit instead of git push.

I guess that tells you how my day has been

THEY TRIED TO GET HIM TO PLEA, EVEN WITH A NEGATIVE LAB RESULT

OMFG, Wow...
