UK PEOPLE: this is REALLY IMPORTANT. If the government bans under-16s from using VPNs, then logically they must intend to REQUIRE AGE VERIFICATION FOR ALL VPN USE. Which will affect adults too!

This petition closes in 5 days and still needs another 1500 signatures to force a response. I'm surprised and disappointed this one hasn't gone further; it's well worded and would demand quite a different response to the usual "we left, tough" that most #RejoinEU petitions get.
Given that it has stated its aim of growing the UK economy, we think the Government needs to quantify the effects of exiting the European Union as soon as possible by setting up an inquiry.

I can't stand modifier-driven-development in SwiftUI; don't like how it reads, don't like how it works. They mix event handling with view properties with visual decoration, can end up nesting in horrible ways inside of various kinds of brackets, and just make for an unavoidable mess.
My question is: if Apple were to replace modifiers with something *better*, is there a viable alternative within the syntax Swift makes available today, or would the language need new features?
