Liz Truss has finally published her own resignation honours list of supporters and friends, who will be heading to the Lords despite her premiership lasting just 49 days in office.
Itâs time to scrap this rotten system and replace the unelected Lords with a smaller elected chamber where the people of this country, not former prime ministers, choose who shape the laws we all live under.

After Boris Johnsonâs scandal-prompting honours list, Liz Truss has published her own resignation list of supporters and friends, despite serving just 49 days in office. No prime minister should be able to appoint their friends to lord over us.
The #honours system is archaic and corrupt. It commemorates an empire responsible for death and destruction around the world. The fact that, year on year, theyâre handed out by and to some of the most dishonourable people in the UK belittles those that do deserve to be celebrated.
Vile.
When we applied to protect our logo, we did so having done a bit of research. The challenge by a company so far removed from our own tiny business, with a logo that is clearly very different to ours knocked us sideways, but we are determined to fight back. Massive corporations shouldnât be allowed to get away with behaviour like this.
