I love having both of you in my timeline - and frequently popping up consecutively!

We don’t usually get this visitor this early in the morning (before 8am). It appeared to be munching on a few bugs in the lawn. But once it tried to settle down for a bask in the sun, the regular magpies had had enough and bullied it away!

I decided to retain a couple of patches of “no mow May” to see how it looks in preparation for possible meadow patches next year. I think the sun on the morning dew/rain is picked out well, but not sure if the photo does it justice.

A couple of pictures from my stroll in the park yesterday evening. I think the picture from the bottom of the slope doesn’t do it justice. Maybe the one from near the top does.

We have a visitor sunbathing and having a snooze at the bottom of our garden.

Last evening’s walk in the park revealed that the cows have returned.

A couple of pics of two of my favourite trees in the park taken on last night’s walk. Tbh my list of favourite trees in the park could be quite long. The horizontal branch across the path on the one tree always makes me want to set up a swing. And the twisty visible roots of the other tree remind me of a Celtic knot.
