@mrencyclopedia That's the Weak Tapir-Worf Hypothesis. The Strong Tapir-Worf Hypothesis is that if a tapir appears, Worf will suggest shooting it with a phaser and Picard will tell him no, to establish that we're not solving problems with violence in this episode.

@mrencyclopedia My old version of this is:

The Sapir-Worf hypothesis: language determines thought, and HONOR DETERMINES EVERYTHING ELSE.

You've heard of Sapir-Whorf, but you are probably unfamiliar with the Tapir-Worf hypothesis, which states:

"A tapir could kick Worf's ass if it was necessary for plot reasons to establish that the tapir is very strong."

@jsstaedtler basically, yeah, I'm already several commits ahead of main thanks to me making little changes other folks have suggested as well as my own bug fixes.

I submitted a pull request on GitHub for a simple bug fix last month, no response. I became a member of the Patreon and sent them a message. No response.

I mean, I get it, it's not as well known as ComicPress, but it's an open version of the back-end that Hiveworks uses, so it's not like it's totally obscure.

The CMS i've chosen, ComicControl hasn't been updated in over a year and a half. The developer is around but doesn't seem to have any interest in continuing to maintain it.

@jsstaedtler I don't even begrudge people who mark things up 100% because they know they can get away with it, but I'm talking someone who would buy something for $100, sell it for $110, and then complain about it.

I know there are other factors to consider, like "was $10 sufficient to cover my time and overhead?" but it's not even that deep, these are people who think you have to be able to sell something for enough to buy two more for it to count as "profit"

I have met multiple people in my life who seem to believe that you have to sell something for twice what you paid to make a profit.

When I was little I thought eventually when you were big enough you wouldn't use any toilet seat at all, you'd just sit directly on the bowl.
