@lolgop They started all this “don’t say gay” stuff right around the time all the news about huge numbers of Southern Baptist abusers started coming out. I personally don’t think that’s a coincidence.
@MisuseCase@lolgop That and SCOTUS is in no small part why they did so badly in the midterms. Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas were MVP’s. Kinda wonder if that escapes them.
@Lisabet8931@lolgop This is a 30 year pattern with GOP. This goes back to the Republicans claiming the Clintons were running a mafia-like organization, spending millions of dollars in investigations and hearings and their only result being humiliating an intern in a blue dress over marital infidelity the GOP also does themselves early and often.
@lolgop I kinda wonder if 30 years of Republicans crying wolf isn’t also catching up with them. Whitewater (which turned up a blue dress), Benghazi turning up nothing, Hillary’s emails turning some recipe exchanges. Each one dumber than the last. Meanwhile, when Dems assert Republicans broke the law, people actually wind up in prison. Might that be catching up with them?
@tizan@lolgop Thats my whole thing. He could’ve just had them throw up a 404 page and started calling vendors to shut things down. Why the theater that makes him look like an incompetent moron? Especially when he has other businesses that heavily depend on people liking him and thinking he’s smart?
@I_simpson@rbreich He’s trying to get waaaaay into the weeds to micromanage low level employees. And then not only is he doing that, but he’s doing it about stuff he glaringly doesn’t understand.
@I_simpson@rbreich Him doing code reviews with zero personal software engineering experience has a narcissistic tinge to me. That’s not what the CEO of a multibillion dollar company does normally and for good reason.
