Last night, there were two new gravitational-wave candidates.
1️⃣ S250701bp: black hole merger at a distance of 3.1 billion light-years (https://gracedb.ligo.org/superevents/S250701bp/view/)
2️⃣ S250701bq: black hole merger at a distance of 1.8 billion light-years (https://gracedb.ligo.org/superevents/S250701bq/view/)
Because only one LIGO@scicomm.xyz instrument observed the signals, their sky position could only be determined rather imprecisely.
